Flying
Made my first freefall jump yesterday! climbing out out an aircraft flying at 100mph with 11,000 feet of air below you ain't the easiest thing to do. But once one is freefalling, the thrill and exhilaration is incredible, think this is just about the maximum returns one can get from spending $$$. Jumping from an aircraft, flying around and then under canopy with blue skies around you and the ability to see the world from *up there* at 4000 feet with legs dangling in the air, the feeling is just out of this world. Paid up for the full course and will hopefully head back to the dropzone soon to make some more! It helps that almost everyone is very friendly and makes it easy for a student to mix in with the old birds. Some may think skydivers have a death wish but after doing this I think I've never felt more alive. Blue skies!
Instructors Tobey on my right and Geoffrey on my left, the other guy was a static liner. My instructors were all over 50(!) and had more than 1.5k jumps each.
Scott and me, scott is a very experienced instructor with more than 5k jumps.
